Most haven’t heard of ‘P.A.M.E.L.A.,’ a survival horror set in a futuristic city. You wake from stasis to find the citizens either dead or insane, with an AI guiding you to unravel the mystery.
Critics slam it for bugs and poor design. Difficulty sliders can make it maddening, with clunky combat and only one respawn point. Managing statuses is a hassle, and early fights are often fistfights due to scarce ammo. Base building is confusing and fragile, while the AI is laughably bad.
Despite its flaws, ‘P.A.M.E.L.A.’ grew on me. Patience and a cautious playstyle made it immersive. The upgrade system is satisfying, and the city’s detailed architecture makes exploration compelling. Its unfinished feel adds a quirky charm, making it a unique, if flawed, survival horror gem.
