Is Quince a reliable company?

Hey there! I keep seeing ads on Instagram for a brand that claims to be “like Everlane, but cheaper” and sells silk, cashmere, and linen stuff. I’m interested in buying a silk button-down and a linen dress, but I’m not sure about the quality. Any thoughts on that?

When shopping for silk, look for terms like “mulberry silk” or “charmeuse silk,” as these indicate high quality. The fabric should feel smooth to the touch, have a slight heaviness, and exhibit a natural sheen. For linen, seek out high-quality options that are breathable and have a fine weave. A good linen fabric will soften with each wash, enhancing its comfort and wearability over time.
Above all ensure the seller has a return policy before purchasing since it may not meet your needs and guess who will go in for a loss?

I have a few pieces from them and I love them. I plan to order more. Their quality is at least as good as Aritzia’s, maybe even better. I don’t know about their sustainability and ethics; it seems too good to be true. As a part-time working student, I’ll keep buying from them because my other option is fast fashion, which is worse.

second-hand:High-quality silk and linen pieces can last a long time. Look for reputable online consignment shops or local thrift stores where you might find gently used Everlane pieces or similar brands at a fraction of the cost.
Invest in a Few Key Pieces: Instead of buying multiple items from an unknown brand, consider investing in one high-quality silk button-down or linen dress from a reputable brand like Everlane or another established label known for using natural fabrics.
