Is Kyte car rental legit?

Has anyone used Kyte to rent a car before? It looks like a new service in Toronto from San Francisco. I’m thinking of trying it for a weekend trip, but I’m worried about having to find another rental at the last minute if something goes wrong.

I’m skeptical and can’t find much firsthand information about it.

I’ve rented from them a few times and had a great experience. The cars were clean and delivered on time. If you want $50 off, use my code: laurap6.

I used them a couple of weeks ago and had a good experience, but your experience might be different. I was hesitant at first since I hadn’t heard of them before, but I’m glad I gave them a try. Their cars are new since they just started in my city—I got a brand new 2022 Nissan Altima with only 200 miles on it. You need to be comfortable with technology because everything is handled online or through their app; there’s no physical office. There’s a chance they might drop off or pick up the car late (mine was 45 minutes late), which could be stressful if you have tight schedules, like catching a flight. You can track the car’s arrival on the app, similar to Uber or Lyft. Aside from the tires being overinflated, everything else worked well. I’d use them again. I’ve been using Kyte in Boston for a while and haven’t had any problems. The customer service live chat is a bit slow but manageable. You can also extend your rental time yourself, which is really convenient. Use my code anht2 to get $50 off your first rental on Kyte!

Kyte is quite decent and affordable in the cities it’s available.

Yes, they’re great. They’re much cheaper than other rentals and don’t charge extra for additional drivers or high admin fees for tolls. They also deliver the car right to your door.

In what city did you rent from Kyte? Because it’s not servicing Canada, yet.
