Is Higher Hire a legit website?

I was looking for jobs on ZipRecruiter and clicked on a remote job. It took me to a website called Higher Hire. There, I saw the job description and a form asking for my name, email, and zip code, with a button that says ‘Join and Apply.’

Is this website legit?

It’s likely a job aggregator. These sites collect job listings from company career pages and post them on their own. Can you find the name of the company that’s hiring? If you can, apply directly on the company’s website instead of using the ‘Higher Hire’ site.

I found the company website where you can apply for the job. The company is called Revel, and it’s a transportation company. I’m not sure if it’s a legit company or not.

I can’t say whether the business is legit or not but they are using a legitimate applicant tracking system (greenhouse) and have all the legally required questions on their application so that’s a good sign.

It doesn’t seem legit enough to be worth giving your information. They have bad reviews and do shady things, like sending you emails, texts, and job notifications about your resume before you even upload one.

Also, remote jobs are usually offered internally by companies rather than online. But they look very appealing to job seekers.

I wouldn’t trust the site not to sell your information.

Glad I read this. Was just about to hit the “apply” button.

That’s not true. I work remotely, and I found my job online, but not through Higher Hire. You can go on Indeed and search for remote jobs; those jobs are legit.

I’ve been wondering if Higher Hire is real because I keep getting emails about remote jobs from a woman named Ned Kate. It’s too much, and I can’t keep up with all the emails. I need to unsubscribe, block, or report them as spam in my Gmail account. There are a lot of online hiring sites and employment agencies, and it feels overwhelming.

Yes, it’s really frustrating. I’m currently unemployed and haven’t had to deal with this process in years. I’ve been sending out my resume and information a lot, and now I’m getting a ton of spam emails. I can’t tell what’s real and what’s not.

I have ADHD, so it’s even more annoying. I’m on LinkedIn, Job Case, and Indeed, and I keep getting job offers in my Gmail. Most of them are for jobs that require commuting, which I don’t want because I’m looking for a part-time remote job, like tech support or entry-level data entry. I talked to a Microsoft Tech agent last Monday, and when I mentioned my PC build experience, he said I was really smart. So I hope something good happens soon.

When I called the 800 number because I had questions, the voicemail told me to check the website for FAQs. However, I couldn’t find any FAQs on the site.
