Is Globehunter.com a scam or legit?

I recently used Globehunter.com to buy airline tickets from the UK to the USA. Ticket prices were £477 per person instead of £620 if I booked directly with the airline.

I made sure I had some coverage by using a credit card, but now that I have paid for the tickets, gotten them, and signed on to the airline to select a seat, etc., everything appears to be in order.

How is this business model implemented? How do they afford such low-cost flights?

Is something missing here, and is this still a scam?

I’m not sure if that website is genuine, but to address your inquiry about how they are able to provide the flights at such a low price, this is true of all (true) bargain websites:
They only receive a higher wholesale resale price than what the airline provides to the retail passenger. If you choose to deal directly with the airline, they can charge you the highest possible rate since they will assume—usually correctly—that you don’t care to compare prices. On the other hand, they provide resellers who market and sell the flight with lower charges. If they advertised the low-cost flight on their own website, they would have to do so automatically for everyone, even for those who WOULD have paid a higher price, and they wouldn’t be able to make the most money on
