Is Geebo jobs legit?

This morning, while looking for jobs, I accidentally put my personal information on Geebo.com, thinking it was a regular job site. I was tired and not paying attention, so I ended up submitting my email, phone number, real name, and resume. After some research, I found out that people say this site might be a scam.

How bad is this? All they have is my name, phone number, and email. Can criminals do anything harmful with this information? Has anyone else had experience with Geebo? I got a verification email from them but decided to ignore it and block the email once I got suspicious.

You’re probably safe. The information you gave them is either already public or they might sell it. This means your identity and money are likely safe, but you might get more spam emails and scam calls.

I haven’t done anything with Geebo yet. So am also curious to know if the website is real.

Using Geebo is generally safe and legitimate, with just a few rare problems. Like any online ad site, there’s a chance scammers might try to cheat people. To protect users, Geebo has put several safety measures in place to stop scammers.
