Has anyone used Explore Credit before? I don’t remember signing anything, but they keep taking over $300 from my account every two weeks. I reported it as fraud to my bank, but the charges keep coming back. Does anyone know how to handle this?
This company is a scam. If you’re here wondering if you should use Explore Credit, don’t. There are better credit options that offer lower rates and won’t bother you like they do.
I’ve never heard of them, but if it’s a debit charge, your bank should be able to give you a new card and deactivate the old one. My boyfriend had a similar issue with a company taking money after he canceled their service, and his bank deactivated his card and gave him a new one.
They don’t follow Chapter 7 bankruptcy laws and use fake phone numbers to harass you several times a day. They even call from blocked or private numbers, even after being sent the bankruptcy discharge papers by email and regular mail multiple times.
Hi, I’ve had the same problem. This is the third email today saying they’re taking money, even though I’ve already talked to them twice. I still haven’t gotten a refund for the first two payments, even though they said I would. I’m really frustrated and had my bank block them. I still want my money back and I’m thinking about suing them.
They charged me $450 this past weekend without my permission! I think I applied for a loan with them but never accepted it. I can’t believe they can do this. I called them, and they said they know about the “technical issue” and are working on fixing it, but it could take 3-5 days. Because of this, I got an overdraft fee, and now I don’t have enough money to pay my rent.
I never agreed to a loan with these people, but they somehow got my bank info. I had to close my bank account and open a new one because, even after many calls to their “customer service” saying it was canceled, they kept taking money.
I’m reporting them for breaking federal financial laws and would definitely support suing them.
