I’m planning to book a 4 or 5-night all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean for later this year or early next year. Has anyone used Cheap Caribbean to book their trips? How was your experience? Where did you go and stay? I want to start gathering ideas now so we can book it when it’s safe to travel again.
Cheapcaribbean.com is a real company. They are owned by the Apple Leisure Group. There are real people who answer the phones, and they are based in the U.S.
Just to let you know, I worked for a company that ALG owned over 10 years ago, and they treated their employees very well.
I used Cheap Caribbean to book a vacation to Los Cabos, Mexico a few years ago. It was easy to use, and we had a great time. I didn’t feel cheated at all, and I liked that I could book activities in one place.
Awesome, thank you! We are looking into Cancun and Tulum right now.
We used it for our trip to the Dominican Republic just before everything shut down, and it was amazing! We stayed at La Natura, which was beautiful and all-inclusive! We thought it seemed too good to be true. If you’re planning to book any excursions, do it before your trip because they were a bit more expensive at the resort, but that’s probably normal.
Good idea about the excursions! Did you feel safe in the Dominican Republic? We’re looking into Mexico right now, but the prices for the Dominican Republic are much better.
I have used Cheap Caribbean to book an all-inclusive trip, but I can’t remember the destination. I generally trust them, but I would also check Funjet and AllInclusive.com. They’re all reliable and have similar prices, but one might be a bit better at times. In my opinion, it’s more important to check reviews of the resort you’re thinking about. I like using Oyster.com for that because they cover the Caribbean well and give honest reviews.
Used it for a Cozumel vacay a couple of years ago, the site is legit but do your own research on the individual resorts and terms of the deal.
We went to Mexico using Cheap Caribbean, but I wasn’t happy with the resort because of the food and service. Two of our toddlers even got a bad norovirus from there. When I tried to leave an honest review about our experience, Cheap Caribbean kept removing it and said it was flagged. That was really strange and frustrating. Why can’t people leave honest reviews to warn others?
Please name the resort?
You were leaving a negative review for the travel company, not the resort where you had a bad experience.
Nope, they asked for a review of the resort we went to.
That’s exactly my point. You tried to leave a negative review of the resort on the travel agent’s website, which ends up reflecting poorly on the travel agency. One isn’t related to the other. It sounds like you’re one of those people who would complain about the sand being yellow instead of white.
We’ve used it for many vacations, including our wedding in the Dominican Republic at Majestic Resorts, which we loved! Most of our guests booked through Cheap Caribbean too. We had a trip to Cancun planned for summer 2020 but had to cancel it. They were easy to work with when we rescheduled that trip.
I fully recommend but still do your research.
