Hey, I’m a software developer. Back in the day, it was tough to create fully functional trading websites. But now, with AI, it’s super easy to build all kinds of trading websites, which is why there are so many fake ones out there that look legit.
Just today, I made a fully functional trading site in less than an hour. It had real trading data and even let users send money to a profile.
My tip? Don’t trust just any website. Always research before handing over your money.
Hey there, this message goes out to everyone who posts here. If you’re new to this forum, watch out. You’ll probably get private messages from scammers offering help to recover lost money for a small fee. These are recovery scams, don’t trust advice in private messages. Always discuss things openly here, so the community can help spot potential scams.
Remember, no contact info like phone numbers or last names. Be nice to each other, no personal attacks, and please don’t post graphic images without blurring. You can report any rule-breaking content using the report button. We check every report.
Scammers create fake crypto websites and apps, convincing people to send their money into these platforms. Some start through romance scams or messages claiming you’ve won crypto. They direct people to buy crypto on a legit site and then tell them to transfer it to their website, which they control.
The scammers make it look like you’ve got money in their wallet, but you never get it back. They often ask for more money, saying you need to invest more before you can withdraw.
If you fall victim, you can report the scammer’s wallet address on BitcoinAbuse or Etherscan.

Do you know how much energy a single Visa transaction uses or how outdated banking systems are? Crypto is way more energy-efficient, especially with systems like Proof of Stake. Most crypto coins aren’t even mineable and use minimal electricity.
You’re the one being scammed. I’ve been doing crypto for years, and I use different coins for different things every day. I’ve never been scammed in over 6 years.
I challenge anyone to explain how Bitcoin or Ethereum is a scam. And why are big companies like Blackrock investing billions into it if it’s a scam? Jealous much?

Exactly. People trust a site just because it looks polished. But there’s more to look into.
Some of these scam sites aren’t even fully functional, with broken links and all. But people still fall for them because the homepage looks good enough.
I like to explore them for educational purposes. Just today, I ended up chatting with someone trying to scam me through a fake mining website.
People used to trust a company just because they had a working website. Now, anyone can throw up a fake site with no regulation. It’s up to us to dig deeper and not rely on appearances.
