Got this message about a delivery, but I had nothing ordered, so it was pretty obvious it was fake. Plus, why would they send it from a mobile number?
Heads up to new users here: you might start getting private messages from scammers claiming they know a hacker or lawyer who can recover your lost money… for a fee, of course. Don’t trust these private messages. Always get advice in public comments so the community can help keep you safe.
Forum rules reminder: No sharing personal info (like full names or phone numbers) and be respectful to each other. No posts asking to attack scammers or attempting to bait them. Full rules are available in the sidebar.
You can report any private scam messages you get using the report button, and the moderators will review it. If you have questions about forum rules, feel free to send us a message.

The only thing replying to those texts does is confirm your number is active. Expect more spam calls and texts if you respond!
Haha, never seen these kinds of scams targeted at people in the UK.

Yep, we get them here too. Canada Post, Australia Post, and all sorts.

Yeah, I get one every so often. Always from some random mobile number.
Lol

Hi /u/vitaminxzy, here’s an explanation about mail scams:
These mail scams pretend a package couldn’t be delivered to you. They’ll ask you to enter personal info or pay fees to get your package. Be careful — they’re usually phishing for personal info, bank details, or login info for mail services. If you’ve entered any payment details on these fake sites, contact your bank to report your card as stolen.
Make sure to only enter your info on the actual website of the mail service. For example, USPS only operates through usps.com.

I’ve been seeing them pop up more often lately. It’s just getting annoying now.
I doubt Royal Mail really wants to wish you ‘all the best,’ just like the US postal service wouldn’t. Crazy how scammers use these tricks everywhere.
Surprisingly, people still fall for these scams.
If you get one of these, report it. Here’s where to send it:
- Report to Royal Mail at reportascam@royalmailh.com
- Forward the text to 7726 (SPAM)
If possible, report the domain too. Block the sender and delete the message after reporting.
For a second, I thought this was about Steely Dan!
Haha, I need this info for myself, LOL.
You sure showed that bot! But get ready for even more spam.
