Anyone else find job scams like this on LinkedIn about Villaris Therapeutics?

This sounds like the same scam that keeps popping up. They contacted me with a bunch of errors in their communication and typos. I went through their so-called ‘chat interview’ and figured out it was fake. Here’s the email they sent me with all the typos and nonsense copied:

Doesn’t this sound way too good to be true? They even talked about paying taxes for me, which is just a red flag. Be careful, everyone!

Hey, just a heads-up! If you’re sharing this to warn others, try not to post clickable links. Maybe write it like ‘villaristherapeutics(dot)com’ instead so it won’t get flagged. Just looking out for the community here!

A ‘chat interview’? That’s not how legit jobs work. If they’re not willing to meet you in person or at least over a proper video call, it’s 100% a scam.

Villaris Therapeutics is probably a real company, but scammers are using their name. This definitely sounds like one of those fake check scams.

Yep, sounds like a classic fake check scam. They’ll probably try to send you a check that bounces after you’ve already sent them money or bought something for them. Watch out!
