Is Litfad a legitimate website?

How do we know if LitFad is a good place to buy stuff? We can look at things like what customers say, if the products are good, and how the business works.

I’d like to verify whether Litfad company is legitimate. The items they display on their website differ significantly from what they actually deliver. The quality of their products is notably inferior, lacking proper instructions and any identifying labels or stickers. Additionally, their customer service is abysmal.

Litfad operates as an e-commerce platform specializing in home decor and furniture. However, the perception of its legitimacy and product quality varies among consumers. Here’s an overview of customer experiences across different review platforms:

Trustpilot:
Litfad’s Trustpilot reviews are mixed. Some customers have expressed satisfaction with aspects like receiving preassembled furniture and enjoying consistent, pleasant lighting experiences. However, others have raised concerns about poor customer service, product quality issues, and prolonged delivery times. Some individuals have even labeled it as a potentially fraudulent website.

Sitejabber:
On Sitejabber, Litfad holds a notably low rating of 1.15 stars out of 5, based on feedback from 517 reviewers. Common grievances include dissatisfaction with product quality, subpar customer service, and difficulties related to credit card transactions.

Amazon:
A review from a customer in the United Kingdom characterizes Litfad as a deceptive Chinese company. While products are indeed delivered, they frequently fall short of the advertised quality. Additionally, navigating returns can prove to be a challenging ordeal.

In summary, Litfad elicits a range of feedback, both positive and negative, from its customer base.

Should you opt to shop there, exercising caution is advisable. It’s prudent to thoroughly scrutinize reviews and take into account the experiences of past shoppers, while also being mindful of potential risks associated with online purchases.

Most people don’t know this, but the quickest way to stop this company from selling in the US is to report them to the USPS for mail fraud. This is a very serious charge that can prevent them from doing business in the US. Other countries may have similar processes, but you’ll need to research those. While they may eventually return under a different name, reporting them will at least give them some consequences for their actions. Filing the forms is a bit of work, but it can be done online and is worth it, in my opinion. If just a few of you file mail fraud reports, the USPS will investigate and shut them down from shipping to the US. Give 'em hell!

for me Just like others here, my wife bought a $700 California King bed frame. There was minimal communication during delivery, but it did arrive. Unfortunately, it was poorly packaged and severely damaged. The bed was low quality and not a California King. After complaining, they sent replacement parts, which were also damaged. I requested a full refund, but they offered 10%, then 20%, treating it like a negotiation. It seems their business model is to ship low-quality products, knowing you can’t return them, and then offer partial refunds while keeping most of the money.
