I want to buy tickets for their upcoming tour, and their website sent me to Etix to make the purchase. I’ve read some bad reviews about Etix and I’m worried about getting scammed. Has anyone bought tickets through them before?

I’m quite confident it’s legitimate. Just bogo marketing for the show.
I went directly to the Michael Franti site and it sent me to etix. I bought tickets to see him last year and it was the same thing. They don’t mail the paper tickets until just before the concert and I was in a panic about that, but I got them earlier than expected. I think it’s legit

Yes I have. Just ensure you are on the official Etix website (check the URL for accuracy and security, such as a padlock symbol indicating a secure connection). Avoid clicking on links from unfamiliar sources.

I’m very sure it is legit. Many venues and event organizers use Etix for selling tickets.

George, I appreciate you sharing your experience. That you got your tickets in time for the event last year, in spite of your early worries, is comforting. It seems that everything went smoothly for you during the eTix process. Anticipating a great Michael Franti concert this year!

etix is just fine and I think they have less fees than Ticketmaster
