Has anyone used eDreams recently? The flights look cheap, but I saw some old reviews that weren’t very good.
eDreams is legit, but the discount you get usually means they cut back on customer service. If something goes wrong, the airline won’t help you.
If the savings aren’t huge, it’s better to book directly with the airline. It depends on how much you value customer support.
They have a really bad reputation! But the ticket they sell you is real. If something goes wrong or changes, you’re on your own. I wouldn’t risk it personally.
It’s totally real, but booking through a third party isn’t the best choice. It’s always better to book directly.
The customer service is terrible. I booked a flight with them in May 2023, the airline canceled it, and I still haven’t gotten my refund. Whenever I call, they keep transferring me to different departments.
eDreams are scammers. They charged me £60 for a subscription I didn’t sign up for. When I called about it, they said they’d give me a cheaper subscription for £19.99 a year. I didn’t agree to the first subscription, and they wouldn’t cancel it while I was on the phone. I got a £40 refund but still got charged £19.99 for something I don’t want. I feel robbed!
I wouldn’t recommend it. If you need to make changes, the airline says you can’t because you booked through an agency. When you contact the agency, they say they can’t make changes because of the airline’s policy. You wouldn’t face this if you booked directly.
It’s a huge scam—they make you pay extra for a “flexible flight” and then tell you they can’t make changes.
Of course, if the prices are similar. But if it’s four times more expensive and you’re booking for four people, it could be a risk worth considering.
