They seem to have good reviews on Trust Pilot, shopper-approved, etc. but I also saw a comment on another post here where someone claimed they were all Chinese knockoffs. I should add that I did buy some frames here to make sure I liked them before buying lenses and they do look legit. They came with the proper case, lens cloth, etc. & said it was ordered from the manufacturer. That being said there are many solid fakes out there so idk… I typically order from FramesDirect but these are $100 cheaper. Any suggestions?
do your research before hand becoz, deciding whether to order from DesignerFramesOutlet.com hinges on your risk tolerance and the importance you place on brand authenticity.
I recently faced a similar dilemma when considering purchasing frames from an online retailer with mixed reviews. Despite seeing good reviews on Trust Pilot and Shopper Approved, I was concerned about comments suggesting the frames might be Chinese knockoffs. To test the waters, I ordered a pair of frames first to inspect their quality before committing to lenses.
The frames arrived looking legitimate, complete with the proper case, lens cloth, and packaging, indicating they were from the manufacturer. However, knowing that high-quality fakes exist, I was still cautious. Normally, I buy from FramesDirect, which has always provided authentic products, but the $100 savings was tempting. Ultimately, I decided to check the return policy thoroughly and look for any satisfaction guarantees before making a final decision, balancing the risk with the potential savings.
I’ve purchased three pairs from them and am really happy with all of them. I was skeptical at first, but even their prescription lenses seem better than what I get locally. Although, I did receive a pair of Juicy Couture frames in a Kate Spade case, which was a bit odd.
