Is Books2Door legit?

I was on my phone and found an online bookstore with a HUGE sale. Entire trilogies and series were just $2.98 each. It seemed too good to be true. The sale would end a few minutes after my shift, so I quickly added books to my cart and tried to pay, but it didn’t work.

My card info was correct, I had money in my account, and my card wasn’t on hold, so I tried again several times. I got a message saying, “Sorry your payment could not be processed, please try another card or try again later.” I tried again during my last break and right after my shift ended, but it still didn’t work.

The website was really slow on my phone and felt suspicious. I don’t know if the server was overloaded, but I couldn’t get my books before the sale ended. I emailed their support last night and haven’t heard back.

Has anyone used this site? Is it legit?

Cancel your credit card immediately. Scam websites frequently cause transactions to fail by tricking you into entering several credit card details into their system. Even if no transactions appear, call your bank immediately to cancel the card.

You’re correct. I called the bank and cancelled my card just now. Just before that, I noticed an ad for a DIFFERENT website that offered the SAME exact prices, therefore it must be a hoax. It’s strange that Books2Door has positive reviews in Google search results, yet they had to be phoney.
