I’m looking to buy some textbooks for next year at a good price, and I found alibris.com. Is it a reliable site? What other websites do you recommend for cheap textbooks?

I’ve ordered some rare or out-of-print books from Alibris before. The prices were a bit high, but that’s normal for these kinds of books. Everything arrived in great shape. I think the delivery took a while, so I recommend ordering early.

It can be. Many different booksellers use it, but a lot are just resellers or big warehouses that give little information about the books. You can often spot these sellers by phrases like “DJ may have rips or tears” or “may have markings and underlinings,” and you can choose to avoid them.
I placed my order but never received it. When I emailed them, they replied that if the order didn’t arrive then it’s not their responsibility and they cannot do anything about it. So I think if someone doesn’t take responsibility of shipment then we should never order anything from them.
It is a legitimate website. I ordered from them before and the shipment was super quick.
