Getting non-stop scam emails… any tips?

I’ve been drowning in scam emails for weeks now. It’s so bad that I can barely find the important ones I need. Every time I block and report one, another pops up right after. They all seem to follow the same pattern, something like :white_check_mark: [brand name] :white_check_mark: [random numbers].

I don’t think I’ve done anything risky like clicking weird links or sharing my email anywhere suspicious. But somehow, they still got my info. Reporting doesn’t seem to help either since they always end up in my main inbox.

Is there a way to figure out where my email got leaked? Or any tips to stop this? I’m open to ideas, thanks in advance for any advice!

Be careful. When you post about scams here, you might get private messages from scammers pretending to help. They’ll claim to know a hacker or expert who can fix your problem for a fee—don’t fall for it. Always stick to the advice in public comments so others can verify it’s legit.

A quick reminder: no sharing personal details like phone numbers or full names. Let’s keep it civil and on-topic. If you see sketchy comments or private messages, report them right away.

Just block and delete them. Unfortunately, there’s no way to track where they’re coming from.

Since they’re easy to spot with those checkmarks, just ignore them. Don’t try to unsubscribe—it’ll just confirm your email is active and might make things worse.

It could be something called spam bombing. Sometimes scammers flood your inbox to hide an important email, like one about your bank or another account.

I’ve been getting these German scam emails for years. Blocking them is all you can do. Don’t even bother trying to unsubscribe—it doesn’t work.

Same here. I get these exact types of emails constantly.

Honestly, by posting here, you might attract more scammers. Just block and move on—it’s the best thing to do.

Double-check that none of your Google account info has been leaked.

This happens a lot to mask real scam emails. Keep an eye out for anything that looks like it’s about account changes, purchases, or banks.

Sometimes it helps to create filters in your email settings to auto-delete messages with certain patterns. Worth trying!

Good idea! Just be careful not to accidentally filter out legitimate emails. Maybe test it with a few keywords first.
