Am I the only one fed up with fake car and motorcycle giveaway ads?

Hello guys Since I often research cars and motorcycles, I am bombarded with ridiculous ads like “ENTER TO WIN A LAMBORGHINI HURACAN or $60k CASH!” Has anyone won one of these:sweat_smile, or know someone who has? Why do people still fall for them? Don’t they realize the prizes often go to family and friends, and you have to pay for the vehicle yourself?

I think you’re referring to Omaze. If so, the gifts appear to be legitimate; yet, they are a for-profit firm with questionable business methods.

  • They keep 20 percent of all “donations”

  • The giveaways last for a long time.

  • They attempt extremely hard to disguise their free admission choices, which are mandated by law.

  • The giveaways take place all around the world, including jurisdictions where they may be illegal.

brother liam,These fraudulent giveaway advertisements are a frequent source of irritation, exploiting individuals’ aspirations of winning a complimentary car or motorcycle. Numerous online forums exist where individuals express their dissatisfaction and share experiences regarding these deceptive ads

I eventually receive the prize, but the true focus is on gathering personal information and selling it to advertisers.
